How A Michigan Library Was Saved

This is such a cool little video about how the citizens of Troy, Michigan used a reverse psychology campaign to save its library. I love it!

  1. I have had many jobs over the years, but my time spent as a librarian was the most fun and the least like "work". Each time people start promoting e-books, I think of those books no longer in print than no one could ever see again, the feel and even the small of the book in my hands, sitting beside my granddaughter with a book between us, reading that story until I have it memorized... I never would have thought of that solution but so glad it worked.

  2. Yay you are back! Love the flowers, love the video, would love to see whole pictures of the quilts. It just occurred to me that I didn't get a chance to stop in and see you on Saturday! Grrr next time I will make it work!
